Happy Halloween!!!

Today was a perfect fall day. Tim had some vacation time to use, so he took the day off for a fun filled family day. After sleeping in (when Troy sleeps in, we all get to sleep in), we got dressed and went to the ND Fire Station. The wonderful guys at the station showed "drive" the truck, turn on the lights, explore the station. He even got a fire chief hat and badge. He was so excited.

After naps, we got the kids dressed and ready for Halloween. We actually made a run to CVS first. They had free photos and treats for the kids (and I got some shopping done at the same time). I'm including this part of our day because Troy was too cute. Instead of "Trick or Treat", Troy says "Trick or Candy" to the lady there. I thought it was funny... and appropriate considering that is the treat we give kids.

Here are some of our Halloween photos...

In addition to picking each pumpkin at the patch earlier this month, Troy picked the shapes of the eyes, nose, and mouth for his pumpkin. I love that the tall skinny one was what he chose for his pumpkin and the smaller rounder one was for Addison.

We had the perfect weather for trick-or-treating too - Sunny and 70's! It was so much fun. Troy LOVES all our neighbors and the neighbors loved his costume. Even the little kids loved his costume. After all, who doesn't love Mickey. Minnie got a lot of compliments too. She loved walking around looking at all the people.

Here's one last photo to share. Troy really likes piles of leaves. Here's him enjoying a big pile!

I hope every one had a wonderfull Halloween.
