Merry Christmas to all!

It's been a great holiday season around here. Tim has gotten some well deserved time off work, which has given us a lot of great time together. There are so many funny stories from the last week that I'm not even sure where to start. Troy has been so much fun this year. He was completely enamored with the Christmas Tree (or "kickamas tree" as he says it). At Christmas-Eve service we tried to have him stay with us to sing and enjoy the night, but at the first pause he said "We go home now" just loud enough for people to see. When the minister said, "Let's pray" Troy folded his hands and said "God is good. God is great..." I couldn't help but laugh. About halfway through I broke down and took him to the nursery. There was another mom with a little baby girl about Addison's age in the area just outside the sanctuary. I pointed her out and Troy exclaimed "Baby Jesus!" Ummm... not quite, but still funny. There are so many other stories like that. I could go on for days.

Addison has been enjoying the season too, but more for all the attention. She loves smiling and showing off to people. I'm not sure Troy understood the full Santa story, but he was thrilled to see all the presents. Both kids must have been really good this year because they ended up with a lot of stuff, as usual.

Santa brought Troy a kitchen with a grill and lots of fun buttons. Addison got a lot of baby activity toys and things to chew on.

Santa also left a lot of gifts at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Troy got a remote control car, a "competer", digital camera, books, and more. Addison got the sweetest birthstone earrings, plush rocker, little purse, and more. Both kids had a lot of fun. We had a great lunch with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Joe, and Aunt Joan (yes, they are engaged now so it's officially time to start calling her that). We wrapped up the day with a trip to see Guppie. Troy was so excited to give every one their gifts. It was a very fun day. Now all that is left to do is enjoy the presents and get ready for our big trip to Florida. Here are a few more pictures to hold you over until next time...
