Winter Wonderland!

Troy woke up Monday morning SO excited to see the yard covered in snow. His immediate response, "I play snow AAALLLL day!" (He's really big on stretching out words right now). Luckily he settled for about 15 minutes while Addison was napping.





By Wednesday all this snow had melted, but in true Indiana fashion... we had a fresh 8-12 inches today. I don't have any pictures because I managed to convince Troy it was too "tall" to go play in. I guess there is no more denying that winter is here. Time to dust off the sled.

Monkey See Monkey Do

We have a Little Tykes picnic table that our neighbor gave us on our deck. Our cat, Billy, likes to sit on top and drink the rain water off the table. Yesterday Troy let Billy out. Of course, the first thing he did was hop up on the table and take a drink. What happened next was unexpected... Troy opened the door, went out on the deck, and licked the top of the table. I guess he wanted to see why Billy loved it so much. This all happened in a split second with me right behind him quickly snatching him up, so I'm not sure how much of the water e actually got. What posessed him to walk out in the freezing cold bare foot is beyond me.

6 Months Old

Addison turned 6 months old on the 7th. Today was her well-check visit.

Weight: 16lbs.-14oz.
Length: 27"

She's growing quickly. She rolls from her back to front, loves grabbing her toes, adores her big brother Troy, and has a smile that can melt any heart.
